Issued to specialized US military units such as the Navy SEALs, UDTs (Underwater Demolition Teams) and US Army Special Forces, the Chronosport UDT is considered by many to be the ultimate military watch of its time. This watch was also produced by Breitling as the Breitling Pluton, and appeared in the Breitling catalog until 1999. This one is in a 42mm x 12.5mm black PVD coated SS screw back case with unidirectional rotating bezel, water resistant to 200 meters. The screw down crown is unsigned, and the crystal is mineral glass. The black dial has brightly fluorescent Arabic numerals and a digital display at six. This watch is on a Maratac black nylon strap with tang type buckle. It had a full service by BestFix Watch Company (who specialize in restoration of these watches) of Denton, Texas, about eighteen months ago. It is in near mint condition, without a scratch or other flaw on the case or crystal, minor scuffs on the case back. The Miyota cal Y652 quartz movement maintains accurate time, and all features function properly. This preowned, collectible military watch will be sold without boxes or papers.
