In 1988, Chronoswiss introduced to watches the regulator dial, previously seen only on large precision clocks. Like those regulator clocks, the cream white dial on this watch has a sub register with the hour hand at twelve and subsidiary seconds are at six. This Chronoswiss Regulateur Automatique is in a 38.2mm x 10.5mm SS screw back case with 18K yellow gold front and rear bezels, water resistant to 30 meters. The crystal is sapphire, and the onion ginished non screw down crown is 18K gold. The signed brown crocodile band, with Chronoswiss tang type buckle, shows only evidence of previous use. It is in excellent condition, with no scratches on the case or crystal, several small marks on the sides of the lugs. The sapphire display back permits examination of the nicely finished cal 122 (base cal Enicar 165) 30 jewel automatic movement, accurate within a tolerance of five seconds per a day.
