The first Eco-Drive watches were sold in 1995. This Citizen Promaster Sky Eco-Drive Stealth Fighter (ref PMD56-2971) is in a 46mm x 12.7mm bead blasted (satin finish) titanium case with black DLC caoted bezel, water resistant to 200 meters. The Duratect coating on the case makes it almost impossible to scratch. It has a sapphire crystal, a signed non-screw down crown at three, and a second crown at eight to turn the internal slide rule bezel. The black dial has brightly fluorescent baton markers, a GMT hand, and perpetual calendar. The battery is charged by light, giving the watch a power reserve of up to two and a half years. Radio signals from a Japanese transmitter adjust the time if you are in its range. This watch is on a signed titanium bracelet with pushbutton fliplock deployant clasp, long enough for an eight inch wrist. It is near mint condition, without a scratch or ding anywhere on the case, bezel, or crystal, very minor scuffs on the bracelet. The cal H117 quartz movement maintains accurate time, and all of the complications function properly. This preowned Japanese watch, which will be sold with boxes, hang tag, and all original papers, has a Japanese list price of about $1100.
