Daniel JeanRichard Chronoscope

Daniel JeanRichard was a seventeenth century Swiss jewelry maker whose name was placed on a new brand of Swiss watch in the early 1990's. The goal of DJR is to produce simple, high quality, and affordable mechanical Swiss watches. This JDR Chronoscope (ref 25020) is in a 44mm x 14.5mm bead blasted SS screw back case, water resistant to 100 meters. Its crystal is sapphire and there are two signed screw down crowns, one at three to adjust the time, another at nine to control the internal diver's bezel. The black dial features brightly fluorescent baton markers. This watch is on a signed SS bracelet with hidden double deployant clasp, long enough for a seven and three quarter inch wrist. It is in excellent condition, with scuffs on the backs of the lugs and bracelet, and a scuff in the crystal at five. The DJR cal 25 (base cal ETA 2824-2 with Dubois-Depraz module 2020) 51 jewel automatic Swiss movement maintains accurate time within a tolerance of six seconds per day. This preowned Swiss chronograph, which will be sold with boxes and papers, is no longer in production. It had a list price (MSRP) in excess of $3000 when last available.
