This Fortis B-42 Cosmonaut Day/Date (ref 649.10.11M) is in a husky 43.5mm x 13mm brushed SS screw back case with black bidirectional rotating bezel, water resistant to 200 meters. It has a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides and an over-sized signed non-screw down crown. The black dial has brightly fluorescent Arabic numerals, independently adjustable GMT hand, and quickset date at three. It is in very good condition, without scratches or other marks on the case, bezel, or crystal, with the exception of two tiny dings on the lugs at one and eleven and several scratches on the case back, where someone appears to have slipped with a case opener, not seen when the watch is worn. The Fortis cal F2001 (base caliber ETA 2893-2) 21 jewel automatic movement maintains accurate time within a tolerance of four seconds a day. This preowned Fortis watch, which was purchased from an authorized dealer in February, 2010, will be sold with box (inner only), hang tag, and papers. It has a list price of $2700.
