Glashutte Original watches have been manufactured in Germany since 1845. Movements are manufactured on site, largely by hand. When we visited their workshops last year, we were very impressed with the workmanship that goes into the production of each of their watches. This Glashutte Original Senator Up And Down (ref 100-01-04-02-04) is in a 40mm x 12mm polished SS case with sapphire crystal, and display back secured with five screws, water resistant to 50 meters. Its non screw down crown is signed. Its handsome charcoal gray guilloche dial has white gold baton markers, power reserve indicator at ten, and quickset big date at four. The watch is on a signed black crocodile strap with pushbutton double deployant clasp, in new condition. The hand finished Glashutte Original cal 100-01 automatic movement, with 53 jewels, 21K gold weighted rotor, swan-neck regulator, and 40 hour power reserve is accurate to three seconds per day. This watch is new and unworn, without a scratch or mark anywhere on the case, crystal, or dial. This handsome unworn watch, which will be sold with boxes, papers, and valid warranty, has a list price of $10,300.
