It represented an early attempt to produce a watch capable of monitoring time in multiple time zones. It is in a 35mm x 9.8mm 10K gold filled case. The crown is unsigned, and the crystal is acrylic. The silver dial had yellow gold markers and a black rotating center section marked for the four time zones in the continental United States. It is on an unsigned brown leather strap with tang type buckle. This watch is in very good condition, appropriate for its age of over fifty years. There are numerous superficial scratches on the case, but no deep dents or dings. The dial appears to be original, with considerable patina. There is a small flaw at the tip of the eastern time zone hand, where it appears that possibly someone has repaired a chip in the dial. The 17 jewel manual winding movement is marked "Illinois Watch Co.", as is correct for this model of Hamilton watch. It maintains accurate time within a tolerance of ten seconds a day, acceptable for a watch of this vintage. This collectible vintage watch will be be sold without boxes or papers.
