This Hanhart Fliegerchronograph 1939 (ref 700.1100-00) is a reissue of the classic German pilot's chronograph. It is in a 40mm x 13.5mm bead blasted SS case with bidirectional rotating coin edge bezel, water resistant to 100 meters. The non-screw down crown is unsigned, and the crystal is sapphire. The black dial has brightly fluorescent hands and Arabic numerals. This watch is on a signed rivet trimmed brown leather strap with tang type buckle, showing minor creasing as evidence of only rare previous use. It is in near mint condition, without a scratch or other flaw on the case or crystal, with a few very minor scuffs on the case sides and back. The ETA/Valjoux cal 7760 17 jewel manual winding Swiss movement maintains accurate time within a tolerance of two seconds per day, and the chronograph functions properly. This preowned German chronograph, which will be sold with its leather display case and instruction manual, has a list price of $4700.
