Payment Options
If you wish to purchase any item, please notify us by phone or email. The item will be placed on hold, pending receipt of payment. Although we cannot accept payment by on line services such as Paypal, all items may be purchased by prepayment with cashiers check, money order, or bank wire transfer. For international orders and purchases over $4000 we can only accept payment by bank wire transfer. We can accept credit cards for purchases of up to $2000 shipped to verified US addresses. For credit card purchases, we will ask that customers fax us a copy of their photo ID (driver’s license) and their credit card card for protection of both the buyer and seller. Our three day return privilege still applies on any and all returns. There will, however, be a five percent restocking fee on any item purchased with a credit card and subsequently returned. There will be no restocking fee on returns associated with other payment methods.
To prevent fraud, we can only ship purchases to the billing address of your credit card. To receive your purchase at an address different from your billing address you will be required to have an alternate shipping address on file with your credit card company. This is a very easy process that should take only a few minutes. Call your bank customer service telephone number;, which should be on the back of your credit card. Request that the customer service representative add an "alternate shipping address to file" and give them the address to which you would like to have us ship your watch. Please contact us if you want any further explanation of this process.
Return Policy
All watches are sold with an unconditional three day return privilege to give purchasers the opportunity to reassure themselves of the authenticity and condition of watches purchased. (This return option cannot be offered on international sales due to issues with the US Customs Service.) The purchase price, less shipping costs and restocking fee, if applicable, will be refunded upon receipt of the watch in the same condition it was shipped to the purchaser. If there is evidence that a watch as been worn, any links removed from the bracelet, or any protective plastic removed from the watch, a ten to twenty percent restocking fee will be charged. If the watch case has been opened, the return privilege is void. No other warranty is provided, or implied, unless so stated in the posting. Three days after the buyer receives the watch, all sales are final.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are committed to excellent customer service and will do our best to resolve any issues.

Warranties
The Watchseller is an authorized dealer for Atlantic, Epos, RGM, Thomas Gref, and Vollmer watches. Each of these unworn watches that we sell will have the manufacturer’s customary one to two year warranty. All of our other new (unworn) watches are sold with a one year Watchseller Warranty. In some cases the Watchseller is able to pass along an authorized dealer stamped warranty card, in which case the watch will be covered by the manufacturers stated warranty.
When the manufacturers warranty is included with the watch, warranty service may be handled directly between the consumer and the manufacturer. The watch will be delivered with a manufacturers original endorsed warranty card.
Preowned watches are sold without warranty. For preowned watches. an optional one year Watchseller Warranty is available for an additional $75.
The Watchseller Warranty
The Watchseller warranties new (unworn) watches for a period of one year from the date of sale to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty excludes damage or wear to case parts such as the crystal, strap, bracelet, bezel, crown, and pushers. Damage to a timepiece arising from water or moisture exposure is not covered under the warranty. Warranties are not transferable.
Our liability is limited solely to the repair of the watch if returned to us. The Watchseller reserves the right to refund the purchase price of the watch or to replace it with a watch of comparable value, if acceptable to original purchaser.
This warranty is void if the watch case has been opened or if the watch has been modified or otherwise abused or tampered with, or repaired by any other source without our permission. The Watchseller Warranty is not available on international sales.
Shipping & insurance costs for warranty returns to The Watchseller are the responsibility of the customer. If the watch needs servicing, return it to The Watchseller with a copy of the original invoice and a description of what is wrong with the watch. We recommend the USPS for these return shipments. Please call us at 520-615-8800 for return authorization prior to shipping watches.
Grading of Watches
Because we find numerical grading scales to be subjective, we use a detailed grading scale and attempt to describe any flaw we find, no matter how minor. In order to avoid disappointments, we prefer to underestimate the condition of the watches we sell. We grade watches as follows:
Like New
A pre-owned watch that has been worn and is in perfect condition.
Mint
A pre-owned watch that is in very nearly perfect condition. Minimal wear may be visible with a loupe. The watch maintains excellent time, and any complications function properly.
Near Mint
This watch shows signs of rare careful wear. Only very superficial scratches, visible to the naked eye, are present on the case, bezel, bracelet or buckle. A strap should show evidence of light use; it may be curved or creased, but not stained. The watch maintains excellent time, and any complications function properly.
Excellent
Evidence of use may be visible to the naked eye. Any scratches are light, but more numerous than on a watch classified as near mint. No dents or dings are present, and any bracelet shows only mild scuffs. Strap shows use and may be minimally stained on its inner surface only. The watch maintains excellent time, and any complications function properly.
Very Good
The watch demonstrates the usual wear expected by a careful owner who wore the watch frequently. Scratches are evident, but no deep dents or dings are present. A strap may show significant wear or staining. The watch maintains excellent time, and any complications function properly.
Good
The watch shows evidence of frequent use. It may have numerous small dings or scratches. The watch maintains excellent time, and any complications function properly.
Fair
Showing evidence of frequent use, with deep scratches or dents, probably requiring service or restoration to be usable. We rarely offer watches in this condition.
Business Hours
We are open daily from 7 am to 5 PM MST.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are your credentials?
We have been buying and selling fine watches on line since 1995. Our web site, Watchseller.com, was established in 1996. We are members of both the International Watch & Jewelry Guild (IWJG) and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC). If you are hesitant to purchase from an internet dealer, please ask us for a list of our unsolicited references.
Do you sell “replica watches”?
Every item we sell is authentic. We do not sell any replica watches.

Every watch we sell is in our physical inventory. We never have watches "drop shipped" by other dealers. Although we do own the great majority of the watches we sell, we occasionally do sell watches on consignment. Those watches are in our stock and are evaluated in the same manner as those we have purchased.
Why do some of your prices seem "too good to be true"?
We purchase preowned watches from individuals collectors and obtain new watches as overstocks and close outs from dealers who we trust. We sell all watches with a small profit margin and pass savings on to our customers.
Can you supply detailed close up images of your watches?
If you click on the picture of any watch, it will enlarge considerably to show a close up, detailed image. We take every effort to supply the best images possible. Each image is the actual item offered for sale.
What do your watch measurements mean?
We measure each watch with a micrometer and include this information in the description of each watch. These measurements occasionally differ from published measurements. For round watches we supply the diameter (not including the crown or pushers) and thickness of the case. Dimensions of rectangular or tonneau shaped watches are length (including the lugs), width, and thickness. All quoted dimensions are in millimeters.
Are your watches checked for water resistance?
Our pre-owned watches are not tested and are not guaranteed to be water resistant. Even if it rated as water resistant, we suggest avoiding unnecessary water exposure of any luxury watch. Because of issues with heat and soap exposure, watches should not be used in a sauna, hot tub, bath, or shower.

Please understand that there are brands and models that we cannot purchase. Because of issues with the US Customs Service, we regret that we cannot purchase watches from outside the US. If we have documentation of the age of any watch, that information will be included in the description. Often, the paperwork on a watch is not dated, so we cannot give precise information on the age of the item.
