Roland Murphy, one of a new breed of American watch manufacturers, produces fine watches in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a city with a long, proud tradition of watch making. This is the date version of the RGM 151P Pilot's Professional Automatic. It is in a 38.5mm x 9.5mm polished SS case with sapphire display back secured by seven fine screws, water resistant to fifty meters. Its unsigned non-screw down crown is a new version recently introduced by RGM. The matte black dial has white Arabic numerals, sweep seconds, and quickset date at six. This watch is on a signed brown leather strap with tang type buckle. It is new and unworn, without a scratch, ding or other detectable defect. The well finished RGM modified ETA 2892-A2 21 jewel automatic movement maintains accurate time within a tolerance of five seconds per day. This unworn pilot's watch, which will be sold with boxes, hang tags, polishing cloth, papers, and its manufacturer's one year warranty, has a list price (MSRP) of $2450.
