The non-date Rolex Submariner (ref 14060) is preferred by many collectors because of the cleaner appearance of its dial and the absence of the "fish-eye" on the crystal. It is in a 39.5mm x 12.5mm SS screw back case, water resistant to 300 meters. The crystal is sapphire, and the screw down crown is signed. This watch is on a signed heavy Oyster bracelet with fliplock deployant clasp and diver's wet suit extension, long enough for a seven and a half inch wrist. It is in near mint condition, without a scratch or other flaw on the case or crystal, several minor hair lines on the case back. Although this watch is not a certified chronometer, the Rolex cal 3030 31 jewel automatic movement maintains accurate time within a tolerance of two seconds per day. This preowned Rolex Submariner has an E serial number (1990 production), and it will be sold with its original boxes, manuals, and warranty certificate, as well as papers from a Rolex factory service performed in July of 2010. The non-date Rolex Submariner is no longer in production, and it has become very desirable on the preowned watch market. It had a list price (MSRP) of $5450 when last available. |
