This Thomas Gref Newport is one of the fine watches designed, assembled by hand, and individually regulated by Certified Master Watchmaker Thomas Gref of Tucson, Arizona, home of the Watchseller. It is a handsome men's watch in a large 51mm (including the lugs) x 32.2mm x 10.5mm rectangular SS case with display back secured by four fine screws, water resistant to 30 meters. The silver guilloche dial has fancy black Arabic numerals alternating with Roman numerals and quickset date at six. This watch has an onion finished non-screw down crown and hardened mineral glass crystal. It is on an unsigned hand made German black alligator finished calfskin strap with tang type buckle. The watch is new and unworn, without a scratch or other imperfection on the case or crystal. The nicely finished high grade ETA 2824-2 25 jewel automatic winding movement has upgrades including a Glucydur balance wheel, Nivarox hairspring, Incabloc shock protection, and 40 hour power reserve, and it is accurate to a tolerance of four seconds per day.
