This Vollmer U5 is very reminiscent of a certain Swiss diver's watch used by the Italian navy. It is in a large 46.5mm x 16.5mm polished SS screw back case with display back, water resistant to 50 meters. It has a handsome black "California" dial with brightly fluorescent Arabic and Roman numerals and quickset date at three. The non-screw down onion skin crown is unsigned. This watch is on a signed brown leather strap with tang type buckle. It is new and unworn, without a scratch or other flaw on the case or mineral crystal. The ETA cal 2824 25 jewel Swiss automatic movement is accurate to a tolerance of four seconds per day.
