This Vollmer Master Flieger Chronometer (ref W550) is in a 43.2mm x 11.3mm satin finished SS screw back case with display back and sapphire crystal, water resistant to 50 meters. It has a handsome matte black dial with brightly fluorescent Arabic numerals and quickset date at three. The oversize onion finished non-screw down crown is unsigned. This watch is on a signed black alligator strap with tang type buckle. It is new and unworn, without a scratch or other imperfection on the case or crystal. The ETA cal 2824 25 jewel COSC certified automatic movement maintains accurate time within a tolerance of three seconds per day. This unworn pilot's chronometer, which will be sold with boxes, all papers including the Swiss chronometer certificate, and a two year manufacturer's warranty, has a US list price of $1800.
